Our “Re-orientation Day” offered students and teachers the opportunity to gently return to school after a long break and set our intentions for the second term. Students who were with us in previous years know that after the holiday break, we often shift student groupings to optimize opportunities to dig into individual student needs for making academic, social, and behavioral growth as we head into the second half of the year. The day’s activities gave students a chance to reconnect with classmates, and reflect on their intentions for the remainder of the year.
