Laureen Ducharme

Year 1 at The Accord School
Laureen is beginning her first year teaching social studies at The Accord School. She brings 35 years of classroom teaching experience delivering individual, small group, and whole class engaging instruction while meeting the individual academic, social emotional and behavioral needs of all students.
She believes that every student has the potential to succeed and thrive in a supportive and engaging learning environment. Her philosophy centers on creating a classroom that promotes curiosity, critical thinking, and fun! She also incorporates various instructional methods to meet the needs of all her students, ensuring that they each feel valued and encouraged to participate actively in their education.
Laureen received both her Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education and Master's Degree in Counseling from Bridgewater State University. She enjoys spending time with her husband, two children and English Bulldog Evelyn Rose.
