  • Art

Ask any alum what their favorite class was at Accord and they will probably say Lisa’s art class! The art room is the heart of Accord, where many students find that they actually do have tremendous spacial intelligence, they just needed the right art teacher to show them the way.

  • Math

Many days, you’ll find Liz’s math class has taken over the art room! Throughout the year, students apply what they’ve learned in more traditional ways to create beautiful and fun projects that utilize their spacial intelligence. Below: The Food Truck project is a student favorite.

  • Math

In math class, students engage in project based learning to utilize many types of intelligences. Here, students are playing the board games they invented in math class. Students write directions for the game, design the game board, and explain to classmates how to play.
